Where My Poetry of Architecture Becomes Jewellery

Where My Poetry of Architecture Becomes Jewellery

Scandinavian Jewelry Inspired by Architecture and Pattern

I have always been fascinated by architectural forms, and my inspiration for jewelry design often begins there. As a Scandinavian jewelry designer, my work is deeply rooted in Scandinavian design—where simplicity, structure, and function come together in a refined and timeless way. I am constantly inspired by architecture, graphic forms, and patterns, and how these can be translated into handcrafted, architectural jewelry.

My collections often begin with a sketch inspired by structure and form. The Astrid collection, created during my time training as a silversmith in London, was inspired by the refined geometry of the Alhambra in Spain. I became deeply drawn to repetition, symmetry, and the poetry of detail—elements that continue to influence my contemporary jewelry today.

The Hedvig collection reflects my deep love for Art Deco, drawing inspiration from a distinctive pattern found on an Art Deco building in Stockholm. Its clean lines and timeless elegance became the foundation for the design, resulting in pieces that feel both modern and enduring.

For the Labyrinth collection, I turned to a more personal source of inspiration—garden architecture and the memories of my childhood home, Ericsberg Castle. In the garden labyrinth, where I spent countless hours playing hide and seek with my sisters and cousins, I discovered a world of symmetry, mystery, and imagination. The geometric beauty of the labyrinth, combined with these cherished memories, became the starting point for the Labyrinth collection—a design story shaped by both form and feeling.

Across all my work, I aim to create timeless, contemporary pieces with a distinct architectural expression—jewelry that reflects Scandinavian design and feels personal, refined, and designed to last beyond season.
